Halloween part 2

We started out the morning by going to our CECPTA play group. We joined this fun group a couple months ago. It is through our city and the kids are put into groups with other kids that will be in their same school year. It has been fun getting to know other moms and kids in our community and Weston is making new friends there. Our play group on Halloween was at somebody's house and the kids got to wear their costumes. Unforunately I didn't want to put on Weston's beard before nap time but he still had fun playing. Trying to get a bunch of toddlers to take a picture together is quite the fiasco but they sure were cute.

After playgroup it was nap time then we got up and got ready to go out. We ran over to the library because they were doing "books for treats" if the kids were in costume. Wes got a little book but did not want to take a pic with it. 

We had some chili in the crock pot and some friends joined us for dinner before trick or treating. The boys had to rest on their chairs like two old men after dinner. These two are so cute together. 

Once the sun started going down we took the boys trick or treating down our street. They lasted about 4 houses before we ended up having to carry them but we had a good time. 

Once we got back, each boy got one aucker while we handed our candy. I could not believe how many people were trick-or-treating on our street. It was seriously like out of the movies. We even ran out of candy about an hour and a half into it! The weather was perfect and we enjoyed hanging out with friends and meeting our neighbors. 

We had a great Halloween this year. Holidays are ao much better with kids. Happy Halloween!
