The month of August is dollar days at the Dallas arboretum, probably because it's scorching hot out. Well, August first was peters birthday so he went golfing and it was a freak cool day (high 80s) so we ventured out. The weather was amazing and I loved spending time with two of my friends.
We went to the children's garden where we spent most of our time letting the kids play. Of course we had to snap a picture of the kiddos climbing on a giant and, camping pest control dad everywhere proud.
We walked around and Nathan was great, of course, and fell asleep while Weston ate his lunch on the go.
Right after this next picture, poor little Grace got sick and threw up all over herself.
It was quite the feat to get there and home with the two kids by myself but we did it. I am so grateful for some sweet friends that really brighten my day and for their cute kids who play so well with my kids.
