In Wednesday morning, we took the early flight to peters family reunion in Wisconsin. It was the first time since john and Janet got married that boy sides of the family got together. We had to leave the house at 5:30 and u was pretty nervous about traveling with the boys, but they did great!
Almost everybody arrived on Wednesday and we all got settled in to anje's house. There were 35 people all in one house and four more at a nearby hotel! We all hung out that afternoon and let the kids play. It was the first time Weston met most of his cousins and he was loving it.
Thursday morning, we went to this cool place called Storybook Gardens. One of anje's friends started this place and it's basically a little arboretum based on children's books. There was an actual tree house for Winnie the Pooh, a garden of ingredients to make pizza for curious George, a flower rainbow for another book and tons more. It was so awesome. We were also able to attend story time in the treehouse which was neat. They also had fun places all over the garden where you could sit and read the stories.
After lunch and naptime, Lorianne and Gideon came and we had a surprise baby shower for Lorianne.
While we were having the baby shower, the boys are outside playing games and shooting the potato gun.
We just hung out that evening and enjoyed the nice weather after dinner.
