Record snow!

12.5 inches in Dallas!!!! Ok, we probably got closer to 8-ish but still. The most snow Dallas has ever got in one day was 7.8 in and we got 12.5 yesterday. This is CRAZY. We had a really fun time playing in the snow yesterday. First, we decided to go sledding. Problem: no sleds. So, we emptied our laundry baskets and headed out to find a hill. We went to this golf course near our house and there is this huge hill we tried to slide down. We didn't really slide because the snow just built up in front of our baskets, but we still had fun. I got in the basket and Peter pushed me down the hill until I rolled over. Then we had a little snowball fight and just enjoyed the snow. Of course, I had to taste some.
Then, we went to QT for a little hot chocolate. Yes, my hat is awesome.
To our suprise, we got a free donut with the hot chocolate! YAY! Upon our return home, all of our neighbors were building a snowman at the house two doors down. No, not the little kids, all the adults! They yelled over to us to come join them and they insisted we take a picture with their snowman. They pointed out that his eyes were Bud Light caps. It was pretty funny. After we hung out, we spent the evening curled up with blankets watching some of our favorite shows.
This morning, we took Winston out in the snow. This time, he loved it! We took him out in the front and he was just walking around in the snow that was deeper than his little legs. He would just run around and bark every time the snow would fall from the tree. Once we brought him in, he would wait by the door until we let him out.
Here are a few more pictures of our street.
