Then, we headed over to the library where they had a fire engine, a police car (suburban), two police motorcycles, and a swat car. Weston was so excited that he had to wear his sheriffs badge he recently got at a birthday party and his fire truck hat. Oh yeah, and boots with shorts. He melts my heart.
At things like this, Weston is really serious and takes it all in while Nathan is talking, waving, and hamming it up for anybody who will look at him. They're so different but such good buddies.
Weston's favorite was the motorcycles. He kept saying "they're AWESOME!!!" We would be at another part and he would somehow make his way back to the motorcycles.
In the fire truck:
We met all our buddies there and apparently they all decided to cry for the picture but I promise they all loved it.
After the library, we had playgroup at the viewing deck at the airport and had our lunch there. I am so eternally grateful that I am able to have these experiences with my kids and be a stay at home mom. Nothing challenges me more or brings me more joy than being able to raise these two perfect boys. 💙
